About Acclaro Consulting Founded in 2000, Acclaro Consulting provides data management consulting services to small- and medium-sized businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Focusing primarily on ACT! and Wired Contact software, Acclaro's unique strength lies in strong technical capabilities combined with experience in business administration, marketing, process development, and strategic planning. Acclaro Consulting has helped countless businesses create systems that not only help manage their data, but also streamline overall business processes. Our belief is that the most important skill in a consultant is the ability to listen and interpret each client’s unique needs into creative solutions that are effective and self-sustaining. Acclaro Consulting works to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, most of whom consider Acclaro a valuable part of their I.T. team.
Prior to starting Acclaro Consulting, Julia worked as a project manager for a thriving design and planning firm in Berkeley. As a strategic planning consultant at this firm, she helped government and non-government agencies, corporations, and non-profits clarify their organizational development goals, develop action plans, and streamline internal business processes. She was a key player in developing a local corporate sustainability consulting practice, and has also worked as an advertising manager in the corporate headquarters of a national home retail chain, as a marketing professional and a graphic designer. Julia has a B.A. in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley, and in her personal time is an accomplished black and white photographer and avid gardener.

Julia
Lucia, founder of Acclaro Consulting, has a background in
architecture, strategic planning, business development and marketing.
She believes that designing a database is similar to architecture in that
a solid understanding of each user’s needs is critical. It is also
important to establish a firm foundation so that the system can be
expanded to support all users as needs change over time.
